CALN AA SNACK BAR NEWS The snack bar is a vital fund-raising component of the Caln Athletic Association. During the baseball seasons, over an estimated $13,000 is raised through the snack bar. These funds were used to support capital improvements on the fields. Every team will receive a snack bar schedule and each family is expected to volunteer to work in the snack bar for their team. Last year the board adopted a policy that each family will be accessed an additional fee of $20 if they fail to work in the snack bar. A minimum of two hours per child is required to avoid the additional fee. The snack bar will run a weekly 50/50 drawing. Tickets will be sold at each game throughout the week. The winning ticket will be drawn at 10:00 a.m. each Saturday and posted at the snack bar. SNACK BAR CAPTAINS Snack bar captains will sign-up to cover one week (Monday - Saturday). A captain is responsible for leading the assigned team in opening, operating and closing the snack bar. The board is committed to the value of the snack bar and has voted TO REFUND A PORTION OF THE REGISTRATION FEE TO EACH SNACK BAR CAPTAIN THAT FILLS A ONE WEEK SLOT!!!.
